Introduction Of The Project

Euroglass Auckland (Viridian Auckland Installations) has entered this project for Best Use Of Glass Award. However, this project was slightly different as the new Silverdale Mall kept Euroglass Auckland very busy with extremely tight deadlines for the project. In total, there were 8 shops comprising of many glass units that spanned 1600mm wide and weighing over 250kg. 15mm toughened glass needed to be turned around quickly under a week to meet the installation deadlines.

The Special Challenges We Faced

All units for this project needed to be hand-lifted by our Euroglass Installation team. Lifting machines could not be used for this project, as there was often not enough room for the glass to be moved safely with other shop fit out companies on site.
The very fast timelines involved in this project meant that the Auckland Viridian Glass and Euroglass team needed to work quickly and communicate effectively to reach the tight time-frames
