Project Consists Of

Full height glazing into Euroglass COM Channel.
19mm Toughened Glass with Stainless Steel Stepdiscs
Toughened Laminated Sentryglas with Non- slip seraphic coating.

Objectives of Project

Incorporating glass balustrade and full height viewing panels into Tortoise and Meerkat Enclosures. Glass Floor into Meerkat tunnels for children viewing. Seamless integration into artificial rock structure for a much more authentic pride lands experience. A large part of the project was inside a bird aviary.

Euroglass Products Used

Full height glazing into Euroglass COM Channel. 19mm Curved Toughened Glass with Stainless Steel Stepdiscs (This glass was not in the bird enclosure). Toughened Laminated Sentryglas with Non- slip seraphic coating.

Challenges of Project

Prevent bird mortality from collisions with glass through utilising bird friendly glass. Glass has a patterned, UV reflective coating making the glass visible to birds while remaining transparent to the human eye.
